Instruction is also systematic, multisensory and tailored to the student's needs and pace. Great emphasis is placed on phonemic awareness, especially in the early levels. OUR TUTOR
DIANA SABADOS
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish and English language and literature, as well as a teaching certificate. I was an English teacher and a translator in Romania, my country of origin, and I have also done some substitute teaching in Edmonton, Alberta.
I am the mother of three amazing children, one of whom has dyslexia and ADHD. This prompted me to dive into the topic of dyslexia and the science of reading. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and I have experience with the All About Spelling and the Barton programs. I am flexible and creative in my teaching and I incorporate games whenever appropriate for the concept being taught or revised.
